Rails Plugins: Rolling Your Own

I put together a tech talk at my last gig about plugins and gems, but at a very conceptual, almost philosophical, level.

Great info ! I have learned that gem is the way to go with ruby 1.9 - unfortunately, my provider still is in 1.8 so i will keep with plugins for a while. Thanks !
