For Hire: A Dream Job

lovejob.jpgLooking for a job that can rock my world. Must allow me to be productive on a daily basis. Rails preferred.

Would require tools that would automagically run integration tests and provide colorful bars and emoticons indicating where I did good and where I should focus on to improve, because I'm a color-code loving sucker.

Git would be lovely.

Team would be crazy results oriented. Never say "can't do it", always "what do we need to do to make it happen?" It would be great if they wanted to be famous for doing good things.

Ideally, there would be a multitude of challenges to best make use of my different skills and interests. I can haz variety. I would love opportunities to work out business logic for innovative products or services. It would be beneficial for both of us if you didn't mind my giving input into your marketing strategy and usability concepts.

I loved this. Brilliant. Drop me a line.

Did you ever find that dream job? If not, this http://jobs.37signals.com/jobs/4404 might appeal.

Aron,

I haven't made a commitment yet. I looked at the job post you included, it looks like a very creative endeavor. But I love Boston and am looking to stay here. I love NY too, don't get me wrong!

Nifty. Interesting. Kind of a little bit of awesomeness.

Oooh! And I have a chance to make you famous (along with the rest of us, since we're big on that whole "us" thang). If you'd do Waltham (slightly less west than NYC), I've got a gig you might dig (yeah, and I don't apologize for rhyming).

I'm with ZoomInfo - we're creating some ridiculously cool wireframes, courtesy of our brilliant new Design Lead, and we need a rock star who's code makes other developers drool to make it all work. We'd love somebody with an opinion, who wants to work closely with marketing as well as development - we're redoing it all, live apps to our About site, potentially logo, etc al. Looking at rebuilding our entire platform, and on and on...

So, it's kind of like a start up (energy, all that fun "it's new and shiny!' mentality), but we have a bunch of cash in the bank (and it's our's, not some VC's..), making sales, well led, etc. Plus we're really, really fun people (honest - here: http://www.zoominfo.com/About/careers/why-work-at-zoominfo.aspx?tab=meetus)

Let me know if you're interested... here's the role: http://zoominfo.hrmdirect.com/employment/view.php?req=9919

-Martin
